Bill shared a photo of his amazing birthday cake – organised by fans Pauline Lewis and Anne Marsden – and presented to Bill during his 80th gala concert at the Indigo at the O2 in London.
Bill sent the photo of the cake, saying how thrilled he was with it. Bill says:
It’s magical with everything I like: my bass guitar, Rupert Bear, my Nikon camera, my photos, my cricket bat and ball for charity matches, some of my books, Crystal Palace FC mention & scarf, and at the upper-left is a black metal detector, Roman puts and gold coins. It is so extraordinary that I can’t get around to cut it up.
Pauline delivered the cake all the way from Stockport to the Indigo at the O2, where Bill was performing as part of his 80th birthday gala concert.
