Bill is an avid detectorist, with a number of ancient finds to his name, including this collection of coins from the early 17th century made up of farthings and half pennies.

When taking a break from music and touring, Bill likes to pack up his metal detector and wander the countryside seeking ancient coins and objects. He has achieved a lot of success – with some of his finds viewable at museums – and he has created his own Bill Wyman Signature Metal Detector and even authored Bill Wyman’s Treasure Islands, he who, what, when, where, why and how of historical treasures found in Great Britain and Ireland.

His latest gallery of discoveries is now viewable as a series of coins he has discovered on his travels. Included are Charles I farthings, William III halfpenny coins and George IV farthings. View the gallery below:
