Bill has paid tribute to the comedy genius of Rik Mayall, who passed away suddenly on June 9 aged 56 in his London home.
“Rik was a great man, and he appeared on stage with me and Jools Holland in a charity performance,” said Bill. “I did do some charity work with him, at the Nether Wallop International Arts Festival, some years ago in this mad thing he did with me and Jools Holland. I want to reshow this on the web site with my fond memories of him and the charity work we did together.”
The video of the Nether Wallop clip with Rik, Bill and Jools has become something of a legend, and is included below in tribute to Rik.
