The official trailer for the Bill Wyman documentary The Quiet One has been released, following the film’s premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival earlier this year.

The Quiet One tells the story of Bill’s early career and life with the Rolling Stones, and features never-before-seen footage and photos from Bill’s extensive archive that he has built and curated over the years.

The Quiet One charts the career of Bill – known as ‘the quiet one’ of the Rolling Stones – who kept a detailed diary of every single day throughout his career. Bill also shot hours of film footage, took thousands of photographs and collected a vast private archive of memorabilia. The documentary is a chance for fans to see previously unseen footage and hear his stories is like going back in time to stand at Bill’s shoulder and experience his life first-hand.

It’s also a story about overcoming the odds to become one of the most recognisable musicians in the world, with the film exploring Bill’s post-war, working-class London and the journey to the centre of a musical and cultural revolution as part of ‘the greatest rock and roll band in the world’.

A UK release date is to be announced, but it will be released in selected cinemas across the US on June 21, 2019 – but in the meantime here’s your chance to view the trailer for The Quiet One.
