Bill has paid tribute to pianist, singer and songwriter Dr John, who sadly passed away on June 6, 2019 – with Bill fondly remembering working with Dr John.

Singer, songwriter and pianist Dr John has been remembered by Bill, following his death aged 77. The legendary musician was famed for his New Orleans musical roots, including jazz, funk, blues and rock ‘n’ roll, and worked with Bill on numerous musical projects.

Bill says:

Dr John will be sadly missed. He played piano on my first two solo albums in the 1970s, and we did a TV show together. We remained in touch to the present day, and I’ve selected the song Ac-Cent-Tchu-Ate The Positive in memory of Dr John.
