Bill Wyman’s Rhythm Kings’ new release is the latest is a series of reissues from Edsel, and The Kings Of Rhythm Volume 4: Race With The Devil is on sale through Bill’s online shop.

Music Week calls the release a worthy and extensive reissue that concludes a fantastic journey of releases, and offers tremendous value and a wide-ranging amount of content, music and extras.

Music Week says:

The stone that rolled, Bill Wyman has been the subject of a worthy and extensive reissue programme from Edsel overing both his solo releases and his work with The Rhythm Kings. It concludes with this box set of live Rhythm Kings material, which includes 2004 concert CD, Rocking The Roots and three DVDs containing four concerts, a tour documentary, interviews and promos.

The include an awesome 19-song set, previously unreleased, that was recorded at London’s Embassy Rooms in 1999, and includes fine versions of Let The Good Times Roll and Coming Home Baby.

Effortlessly spanning the blues and jazz divide, this box set rocks, and its release now, so soon after The Rolling Stones’ Blue & Lonesome, suggest Bill Wyman and his former bandmates still have much in common. Completing another epic journey into Wyman’s recording archive, this exemplary release is completed by a chunky 24-page booklet.
