A real treat for fans this week! Bill’s track of the week is a live version of Mystery Train from the album Willie And The Poor Boys Live.

Recorded in Halmstad in Sweden, Mystery Train is a joy to listen to. This live version features Andy Fairweather Low providing the vocals and on lead guitar, with Terry Taylor on slide guitar.

Listen to Mystery Train:

In November 1984, Bill Wyman got together a group of well-known musicians to record an album of rock’n’roll numbers to help the Ronnie Lane Appeal for ARMS (Action for Research into Multiple Sclerosis). The band was called Willie & The Poor Boys. Recorded live in Sweden, this CD features Bill Wyman, Andy Fairweather Low, Gary Brooker, Graham Broad, Jimmy Henderson and Terry Taylor.

  1. A great week listening to W@TPS. I was there three nights including the last night when the live album was recorded! I still got the tape I recorded fron The Swedish Radio. I think it has a couple of more tracks than the official cd!
