Netherlands-based Blues Magazine has an in-depth interview with Bill, taking about the up-coming solo album, finding Roman coins and photography.

With Bill set to release his new Back To Basics solo album – his first solo album in over 30 years – Bill has been speaking about how he selected the music to include on the album.

According to the Blues Magazine Bill Wyman interview, Bill says that the music comes from a mix of old songs he’d written and recorded as demos, and new music composed especially for the album. All, says Bill, were recorded on a home tape, stripped back, and musical support added.

It’s interesting. The feedback so far has been great, really positive. Some – other musicians mostly – have told me they think some of the lyrics are a bit quirky.
