Bill Wyman is to appear at the birthday tribute for music legend Albert Lee, playing at the Cadogan Hall over two nights on March 1 and March 2.

Bill was confirmed as a special guest by The Blues Magazine, appearing at two shows at The Cadogan Hall near Sloane Square in London on March 1 and 2, with a different line-up each night.

Bill joins a host of big names including  Dave Edmunds, Gary Brooker, Andy Fairweather Low, Chas and Dave, Joe Brown, Gary US Bonds, Marty Wilde, Bruce Welch, Chris Farlowe, Brian Bennett, Shakin’ Stevens, Ralph McTell and The Robert Wells Trio among others.

Albert Lee has been described as one of the greatest guitarists in the world, and with a career spanning over 50 years in the music business, the amazing finger-picking country-rock star Albert Lee is celebrating his upcoming 70th birthday with a documentary, brand new solo album and culminating with his 70th Birthday Concert.

Albert said: “I’m delighted Bill is able to make it, and to be able to welcome him to my show for a change.”

Albert Lee – who has regularly toured as a member of Bill Wyman’s Rhythm Kings – will mark his 70th birthday  at The Cadogan Hall near Sloane Square in London. The March 1 show is hosted by Whispering Bob Harris and the March 2 concert by Mike Read. Sadly, tickets have sold out for the show but there may be some available at the last minute.
