Bill Wyman is to perform with the Rolling Stones as a special guest for the Rolling Stones concerts at the O2 Arena in London on November 25 and November 29, along with Mick Taylor – the first time the Stones are performing together in 20 years.
The reunion concerts – part of the Rolling Stones ’50 And Counting’ tours – will mark 20 years since Bill performed with the band. Bill left in December 1992, concentrating on his work with Bill Wyman’s Rhythm Kings and countless projects across music, photography, writing and archaeology. Bill was with the Stones for 31 years.
Stones fans and Bill Wyman fans will be delighted with the news that Bill will be appearing on stage with Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ronnie Wood. Mick Taylor, who was with the band from 1969 to 1974, will also appear as a special guest.
The Rolling Stones concert – held at London’s O2 Arena – promises to deliver a historical tour de force of Stones’ classics, as well as one or two surprises.
Tickets for the concerts are still available viaTicketmaster.
