Bill has shared the final photo of him and Dr John as part of his tribute to the pianist, singer and songwriter who sadly passed away in June.
Singer, songwriter and pianist Dr John has been remembered by Bill, following his death aged 77, with a final photo of the pair. Famed for his New Orleans musical roots, including jazz, funk, blues and rock ‘n’ roll, Dr John worked with Bill on numerous musical projects.
Bill said in a tribute earlier this year:
Dr John will be sadly missed. He played piano on my first two solo albums in the 1970s, and we did a TV show together. We remained in touch to the present day.
