Jeffrey Halford and The Healers have done a cover of Bill Wyman’s song ‘Mississippi Flyer’.
Bill says of the song and video: “I’d heard a lot of Jeffrey’s music, and thought the song might suit him. I had no idea how he would approach it – but guessed that he would do it in his own inimitable style. It surprised me, as he’d changed it a little, but it’s a really nice version – especially the video, which I love very much.”
The video intersperses vintage photographs, and footage of the train and railroad tracks with Halford and the band playing and it’s an engaging accompaniment to an engrossing song.
