Bill spoke to his father in hospital for the last time.

2nd February

Ray Coleman joined Bill in Vence for three days to work on the ‘Stone Alone’ book.

3rd February

Bill heard from the family that his father was really ill again.

5th February

Bill’s father worsened in hospital. Bill delayed Rolling Stones trip to Japan. Keith and Ronnie arrived in Tokyo, Japan to a wild reception.

6th February

Mick and Charlie arrived in Tokyo, Japan from New York.

9th February

Bill heard from the family that his father’s health had improved.

Bill bought Mandy a house in Muswell Hill, London.

Bill shot a promo video for his book ‘Stone Alone’ at his house in Vence.

Bill drove to the Chateau near du Dangu in Paris to join the rest of The Rolling Stones and began rehearsals there (until 4th May 1990).

After the show, the Rolling Stones (minus Bill) flew on to Hannover, West Germany.

Bill started to drive everywhere on tour rather than fly, so he drove to Hannover and joined the Stones.

23rd May

The Rolling Stones performed two show at Niedersachsen, Hannover, West Germany.

24th May

The Rolling Stones (minus Bill) flew to Frankfurt.

25th May

Bill drove to Frankfurt, stopping off at Hamlyn and enjoyed the beautiful town of ‘The Pied Piper’.

The Stones played two shows at the Wald Stadium, Frankfurt, West Germany.
