Bill Wyman’s Rhythm Kings played to an enthusiastic and welcoming audience on July 30 at Kingston upon Thames – and we’ve got an exclusive gallery of photos to share with you.

Bill Wyman’s Rhythm Kings have played a number of venues and concerts this summer, stopping off at Kingston upon Thames with an extended line-up and new set that thrilled fans.

Performing at the Rose Theatre, Bill’s friend Lana Topham was able to capture these scenes of the performance, as well as a candid shot of Bill backstage.

Bill says the fans were really excellent, with the 800-strong audience providing a standing ovation at the end of the show.

Bill says:

Our first Set was: Chicken Shack Boogie (Geraint), Sweet Soul Music (Beverley), Too Late (Terry), Harlem Shuffle (Beverley/Andy), He Was A Friend On Mine (Hamish), 300 Pounds of Joy (Geraint), Good Rockin’ Daddy (Beverley), I’ll Be Your Baby Tonight (Andy), Just Your Fool (Frank), and I’m Ready (Hamish).

We broke for 20 minutes & relaxed with drinks backstage.

Our second Set was: It’s A Man’s World (Beverley), Route 66 (Andy), It’s Raining (Geraint), Talk To Me Baby (Terry), Johnny B Goode (Geraint), I Just Wanna Make Love To You (Beverley), Hit The Road Jack (Hamish), Sugar Babe (Frank), and I Put A Spell On You (Beverley).

We went back onstage for the encore, & did ‘You Never Can Tell (Bill). It was another great audience reception, with a standing ovation.
