Blog » Bill’s blog – June 21-23, 2010
Thursday 22nd July 2010
With the World Cup 2010 in full flow, Bill started Monday by working on projects before catching the lunchtime game between Portugal and North Korea, which ended 7-0 to Portugal. The afternoon was given over to working, with occasional breaks to watch the Chile versus Switzerland game. After dinner, Bill packed up and drove from Gedding to London making great time, as was greeted by Matilda who showed Bill her new puppy, as well as giving Bill a gift and card for Father’s Day. Bill then spent the evening working, although he did find time to watch a documentary on Stonehenge.

Tuesday, and the start of a busy day for Bill, who began the day reviewing the demos that he’d worked on with Madeleine Peyroux, as well working on email and projects. At lunch, Bill and Suzanne attended the Jeans For Genes charity tea party launch at the Sanctum Soho Hotel in Warwick Street, being photographed on arrival. Bill also did brief interviews with the Sunday People, Daily Express, Sunday Express and the Daily Telegraph.

Suzanne had a manicure and her nails painted at the event and Bill joined in, getting his thumbnails painted with the flag of St George, while photos were taken (see photo upper-right).

More charity work on Wednesday, June 23. Bill signed lots of books for charity, as well as worked through his diary of appointments and updated his business projects. Then, more football, with games including Slovenia versus England, and the USA versus Algeria.
