Sunday 21st February 2010
Tuesday, and Bill started the day early in Berlin, packing up ready for the bus trip to Hamburg before arriving in the city in the afternoon for the evening performance at the Fabrik Club. After checking in, Bill downloaded emails and caught up on some business works before sorting out his stage clothes and getting ready. The venue was packed full of enthusiastic fans, who welcomed Bill and the Rhythm Kings to the stage at 9pm. With the expectant crowd ready for an electric evening of music, Bill Wyman's Rhythm Kings delivered.

The first set was I Got A Woman (Georgie), Sweet Soul Music (Beverley), Jump Jive And Wail (Albert), Maggie's Farm (Geraint), Too Late (Terry), Everytime I Roll The Dice (Albert), All Night Long (Bill), Three Cool Cats (Georgie), Chicken Shack Boogie (Geraint), I'll Be Satisfied (Beverley), That's Rock And Roll (Albert), and You Never Can Tell (Bill). A short 20-minute interval, then Bill Wyman’s Rhythm Kings returned to the stage, launching into It's A Man's World (Beverley), and then followed by I'm Ready (Albert), My Toot Toot (Georgie), Just Your Fool (Frank), Race With The Devil (Terry), I Just Wanna Make Love To You (Beverley), Hit The Road Jack (Georgie), That's Better For Me Baby (Terry), Johnny B Goode (Geraint), Just For A Thrill (Georgie), and Honky Tonk Women (Bill).

The audience loved it, and to show their appreciation, demanded encores, with the band returning to perform Crying In The Rain (Albert/Beverley), I Put A Spell On You (Beverley), and Tear It Up (Albert). The band then left the stage to wild clapping and cheering, before heading back to the hotel and packing ready for the trip to Deventer in Holland tomorrow.

With the evening’s performance still fresh in the bands’ minds, everyone boarded the bus in the morning to Deventer, arriving in the late afternoon after passing through snow-covered fields. After checking it and getting his stage clothes prepared, Bill and the rest of the Rhythm Kings navigated the dangerously iced pavements to the Shauwburg in Deventer, taking the stage at 8pm to a sold-out sit-down audience.

With applause from the crowd rounding off the first set, Bill went backstage where he chatted to a man in a wheelchair, who had seen the band at the venue twice before. Bill arranged for all the Rhythm Kings to sign autographs for him, as well as have their photos taken.

Back on stage, the second set was It's A Man's World (Beverley), I'm Ready (Albert), My Toot Toot (Georgie), Just Your Fool (Frank), Race With The Devil (Terry), I Just Wanna Make Love To You (Beverley), Hit The Road Jack (Georgie), That's Better For Me Baby (Terry), Johnny B Goode (Geraint), Just For A Thrill (Georgie), and Honky Tonk Women (Bill). With the audience on their feet by the end of the set, the band returned to perform Crying In The Rain (Albert/Beverley), I Put A Spell On You (Beverley), and Tear It Up (Albert) as an encore.
