Blog » Bill’s blog – June 1-6, 2009
Wednesday 1st July 2009
On Monday, June 1, Bill was up early, noting that Ronnie Wood celebrated his 62nd birthday today. Bill then threw himself into his projects throughout the day, though he did unwind during the evening by watching the film Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, starring Robert Downey Jr and Val Kilmer, which Bill says he enjoyed.

Another day, and another birthday, with Tuesday, June 2 being the birthday of Bill's younger brother Paul, who celebrated his 64th birthday in New York. Charlie Watts also celebrated his birthday of 68 years. After working solidly throughout the day, Bill then watched the 20-20 warm-up cricket match between England and Scotland, which England comfortably won. Then, in a bid to burn the midnight oil, Bill worked continuously through the night until around 6am.

After a quick break, and it already being Wednesday, Bill watched the 20-20 warm up between England and the West Indies, which England dominated and won by nine wickets. Bill then had dinner, before watching 'Hang 'Em High' on TV for what Bill says was the umpteenth time.

On Thursday, June 4, Bill got up to go and vote in the both the county council and European Parliament elections, before popping into Felsham to take pictures of the pup and cottages around the Felsham Green. Friday followed much the same pattern as the previous days, without the voting, with Bill working on his projects, before heading back to London on Saturday, June 6 to pack for his trip to Paris on Sunday with Suzanne.
