Formed as something of a retirement project for ex-Rolling Stone bassist Bill Wyman, his Rhythm Kings project took on a life of its own with successful shows and album releases in the late 1990s and early 21st century.
Rhythm Kings Live
This live album finds Bill Wyman's Rhythm Kings bringing their considerable collective jazz and rock & roll chops to a set of creditable swing, blues, and R&B covers, including the up tempo Roll 'Em Pete and Jump, Jive and Wail as well as a version of the Beatles' Taxman and original songs like Disappearing Nightly.
