Bill takes the Ice Bucket Challenge in support of ALS

Bill has taken the Ice Bucket Challenge in support of ALS – and you can see the exclusive video right here.

It’s the celebrity dare that has taken the world by storm: tipping a bucket brim full of ice and water over your head to raise awareness for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) and encourage donations for research into the motor neurone disease.

Bill rose to the challenge after being called out by ALS patient Larry Machula in the Saskatoon, Canada. Larry, who suffers from ALS, had three buckets of ice water poured over him while nominating three others to follow his lead. Larry nominated the Rolling Stones including specifically Bill, as well as Celine Dion and Shania Twain.

You can see Larry’s video and challenge here.

The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge rules state that if you are called out on video by someone doing the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, you too have to perform the challenge within 24 hours and nominate three other people to also perform the Ice Bucket Challenge.

Bill managed to brave the bucket of ice and water within 24 hours – and has called on three celebrity friends to follow his lead. Bill has dared Mick Hucknall, Bob Geldof and Mark Knopfler to take the challenge.
